We hope that it provides you with everything you need to help you make an informed decision as to whether this resort and this apartment could provide you with the type of holiday you enjoy. The menu at the top of each page will enable you to move around the site easily. We're not a company - simply a hard working couple (Lynne & Roger) who own a holiday property on the sea front in the main resort on the island of Gran Canaria. Our costs during 2010 increased considerably, and further increases to our costs are inevitable during 2011. We have swallowed many of those costs ourselves but we are increasing our rental to share just some of the increases. Rental is now £370 per week for all dates except the Christmas and New Year Period. I'm confident you'll find Jollies to be value for money. We're delighted to tell you that in September/October 2010 the pool area was revamped. The sunbathing areas are now tiled and the whole area has benefited from the work. It looks lovely!! New pool photo's will be put on the site in January. The current financial climate and the poor exchange rate has resulted in many holidaymakers having to reconsider their holiday costs and move away from package holidays where not only are they “tied in” to full board, but where prices are increasing considerably. Jollies however, continues to offer a value for money break in a home from home environment. The apartment is far from a typical holiday rental with basic facilities. Take a look at some of our photo's in the site and you'll see just how well equipped it is. We visit ourselves for lengthy holidays and needed to equip the apartment better than your average holiday let!! Jollies is also benefiting from clients who don’t want to eat in hotel dining rooms every day of their holiday. Our guests can choose from the many many restaurants within walking distance or even dine “at home” if they so wish. The fact that the Jollies kitchen is fully equipped (and eating on the terrace over looking the pool is hardly a hardship) makes meal preparation easier than in a basic apartment where you often get just two rings - and a mini oven if you're lucky!! It can reduce holiday costs considerably - even if you only choose to have breakfast and lunch at "home" and select a different restaurant each evening! Dozens of our clients tell us how they enjoy a nice bottle of wine on the terrace instead of going out some evenings. They say they "chill" whilst listening to our music selection or get one of our games out! YOUR holiday at Jollies can be whatever you want it to be. I hear that flight prices are to go up again this year (yet one more reason to keep your accommodation costs down!) so you have to search that bit harder for a good price. I saved tons on one of our visits to Jollies this year by booking singles (with Thomas Cook) instead of a return. Even though I booked the return within minutes of booking the outward journey, just the fact that I booked them separately saved me a fortune!! In the site we offer a link to flight companies. Don’t forget, you can secure your 2011 & 2012 holiday dates with just a £100 booking deposit! Payment can be made safely online by credit or debit card via PayPal , and you don’t even need to have a PayPal account of your own! We are already very busy for 2011 so to avoid disappointment please reserve your dates now. Our 2012 calendar is now available. We do get a lot of return visitors (see our guestbook.) and many comment on how you need to book early to get in. We don't mind how many questions you ask. In our experience the more informed you are, the more you'll enjoy your holiday - so feel free to email Wayne. The contact information can be found at the bottom of each page of the site. Wayne deals with our enquiries, bookings and admin. Dale is our English manager in the resort.
